Tsavo East
Malindi, Kenya 8 Rating
Tsavo East National Park is one of the world’s largest game reserves, providing undeveloped wilderness homes to vast numbers of animals.
If you want to go on a safari in Tsavo East , starting from Malindi, Watamu or from the coast of Kenya, here you can find all our programs that include this wonderful National Park.
The reasons why you should choose to go on a safari in Tsavo East are:
Proximity to the coast (only 2.5 hours drive).
Tsavo East is only 2 and a half hours from the coast, so it is possible to easily combine the safari in Tsavo East with a seaside stay on the coast, which could be spent in our intimate and exclusive Nyumba Ya Paka Wellness Boutique Hotel on the Malindi sea.
It allows you to go on short safaris.
The minimum we recommend is 3 days – 2 nights, to truly appreciate a photo safari.
Overnight stays in areas rich in animals
All our programs in Tsavo East include overnight stays at Ashnil Aruba Camp or Satao Camp , medium-high level tented camps located in the heart of the national park. The area is very rich in animals and permanent residence of several prides of lions: the ideal conditions for a dream game drive!
Location of the park
Tsavo is the first national park you come across when traveling from the coast to the other national parks and reserves. So, for those who want to do a longer and more itinerant safari and visit protected areas such as Tsavo West and/or Amboseli and reach the foot of Kilimanjaro, Tsavo East will definitely be on the program. In fact, the same route can be done by avoiding Tsavo East National Park and traveling on a paved road to Tsavo West, but this is exactly what we want to avoid: our programs are all designed to fully enjoy nature, so we will avoid the paved road as much as possible and always travel through the parks
